Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC is the largest locally owned certified public accounting Firm in Central New York. Founded in 1956, the Firm serves the region from three conveniently located offices in Auburn, New Hartford and Syracuse. Our experienced staff, which consists of more than 100 employees, is available to assist our clients in the traditional service areas of auditing, accounting and taxation as well as many areas of specialization, including pension administration, valuations, financial services, management/sales training and information technology.

Our Qualifications

Our Firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). We are entering our eighteenth year as a member of the Private Companies Practice Section of the AICPA. Membership in this division requires the Firm to maintain an internal system of quality control. We are also subjected to peer reviews every three years. All of our peer reviews have resulted in unqualified opinions.

Dermody, Burke & Brown is also a member of the PKF North America. This network is an association of 92 independent accounting Firms that provides solutions for clients through mutual support and communication. The firm is also affiliated with PKF International, a network of Firms located in Europe and throughout the world. Our affiliation allows us to offer clients resources normally associated with national accounting Firms without the associated overhead costs.
