Meghan Alberts Earns CPA Credential

Meghan Alberts, Associate of Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC, has successfully completed the certification process to earn her designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Meghan joined the firm in 2013.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Le Moyne College.  Meghan is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Accounting Advisory Board at Le Moyne College.

The CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality.  To earn the prestige associated with the CPA license, one is required to demonstrate knowledge and competence by meeting high educational standards, passing the CPA exam and completing a specific amount of public accounting experience.
