 Dermody, Burke & Brown Participates in Walk the Talk
Syracuse, NY — November 05, 2007 Dermody, Burke & Brown participates every year in the United Way’s Annual Giving Campaign. For the past two years, the firm has teamed up with two other local accounting firms in a united effort to raise money for the community. The culmination of this effort is the Walk the Talk event. Bernard J. Corbishley, Managing Partner at Dermody, Burke & Brown, walked with leaders from the other two firms from our office locations in Franklin Square to the United Way office on James Street to present our combined check to the United Way. This symbolic gesture indicates the end of the campaign.The total raised this year between the three firms is $37,764 which surpassed our goal. Many corporations throughout Central New York participated in Walk the Talk which was held on Halloween this year. Participants were encouraged to dress up for the festivities and the three leaders dressed as The Blues Brothers.
