Dermody, Burke & Brown Hires Six Summer Interns

Syracuse, NY — July 03, 2008

Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC recently hired Jason Belyea, Joseph Cummings, Jessica Greenhouse, Matthew Kinnan, Matthew MacDougall, and Daniel Pollock as summer interns.  

Jason Belyea is a graduate of Chittenango High School and is currently attending Siena College for Finance and History. Belyea works both in the Financial Services and Marketing Departments at the Syracuse office. His responsibilities include marketing projects, stock research, and proxy votes.

Joseph Cummings is a graduate of Marcellus Senior High School and is currently studying Accounting and Corporate Finance at St. John Fisher College. Cummings is located in the tax department at the Auburn office. His responsibilities include bar reports, personal and corporate tax returns, and information input into Engagement and QuickBooks.

Jessica Greenhouse graduated form Jamesville-Dewitt High School and is presently an Accounting major at Quinnipiac University. Located at the Syracuse office, Greenhouse facilitates the tax department with their work. 

Matthew Kinnan, a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, attends Georgetown University for Accounting and Finance. Kinnan is a member of the Syracuse office’s tax department. His responsibilities include account projects and facilitating the tax department.

Matthew MacDougall is a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa Central High School and currently attends SUNY Geneseo for Biology and Business. As a member of the marketing department at the Syracuse Office, MacDougall’s responsibilities include marketing projects and market research.

Daniel Pollock, a graduate of Fulton High School, is currently studying Accounting at St. John Fisher College. His responsibilities at the Syracuse office include accounting projects in addition to helping the tax department.
