Alonzo T. Bertron, CPA Promotion to Principal

Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC (DBB) is pleased to announce that Alonzo T. Bertron, CPA has been promoted to Principal as of January 1, 2026.

Alonzo brings more than a decade of experience in public accounting and private enterprise, serving a diverse range of industries and business structures. His areas of expertise include:

• Complex tax compliance and accounting matters
• Tailored tax planning for unique client needs
• Construction accounting
• Multi-state taxation
• Real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges
• Business sales, acquisitions, and reorganizations
• Domestic tax reporting for foreign activities

Alonzo earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from State University of New York at Geneseo.  He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
