Seasonal Administrative Assistant

Dermody, Burke & Brown (DB&B) is currently seeking a Seasonal Administrative Assistant to join our firm. Our Tax Department is looking for a dependable team player with a professional upbeat attitude with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment. Currently this position is from mid-January through mid-April, for the right person this could be a returning seasonal or part-time (year-round) position.


  • Scanning clients’ information
  • Verification of clients’ information into CCH Tax
  • Process and assemble a variety of tax returns
  • Electronic Filing of Tax Returns
  • Project Tracking
  • Other tasks as assigned


  • 2 plus years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Tax returns a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, work within a team but also work independently
  • High attention to detail with superior accuracy
  • Familiar with office procedures
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Pay starts at $16 per hour and is based on experience.  The position will be located in our Syracuse office and does not have an option to work remotely.
