The County of Onondaga proclaimed January 18, 2016 as The 60th Anniversary of Dermody, Burke & Brown Recognition Day.  

WHEREAS, Dermody, Burke & Brown was founded in 1956 by Robert J. Dermody, John D. Burke and Daniel J. Brown in Syracuse; and

WHEREAS, Dermody, Burke & Brown has grown to over 85 employees and now has offices located in Syracuse, Auburn and New Hartford; and

WHEREAS, Dermody, Burke & Brown was founded on the principles of integrity, trust and community impact.  The very first dollars the founders earner was giving to charity - a gesture indicating the principles of the firm would contribute as much to the community as they would to the economy; and

WHEREAS, Dermody, Burke & Brown continues the legacy of community impact set by their founders. Over 75% of the firm's employees serve on boards or volunteer at over 50 organizations throughout Central New York; and

WHEREAS, Dermody, Burke & Brown now celebrates its 60th anniversary as one of the largest locally owned CPA and business advisory firms in Central New York.
