Allyssa Harmer, of Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC, has successfully completed the certification process to earn her designation as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Allyssa joined the firm in 2015 as an Associate in the Audit & Accounting Department.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Accounting and a Master of Business Administration Degree from State University of New York at Oswego.  Prior to being hired on a full-time basis, she worked as an intern in both the Tax and Audit & Accounting Departments at Dermody, Burke & Brown.  Allyssa resides in Palermo.

The CPA license is the accounting profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality.  To earn the prestige associated with the CPA license, one is required to demonstrate knowledge and competence by meeting high educational standards, passing the CPA exam and completing a specific amount of public accounting experience.
