The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing and/or reviewing of audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon-procedures
- Manage all aspects of an engagement from start to finish, including client contact, staff supervision, job completion
- Planning the engagement, performing and/or reviewing of fieldwork, preparation of full disclosure financial statements and required reports for management and regulating agencies, performing other non-audit accounting services.
- Provide timely performance feedback on projects.
- Mentor and training of professional staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 150 NYS qualifying hours.
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in public accounting.
- CPA certified or the eligibility to work toward obtaining a CPA license.
- Strong technical skills in GAAP, GAAS and statistical analysis ratios
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects/task on a timely basis while monitoring time spent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient knowledge of CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Salary $80,000 - $100,000 based on experience.
