Janet joined Dermody, Burke & Brown in January 1987. She specializes in estate and trust fiduciary income tax, estate tax and gift tax areas of practice. A graduate of University of Colorado at Boulder (her native state), Janet is licensed to practice public accounting in New York and California. Memberships include American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Estate Planning Council of Central New York.

Janet serves as Treasurer for her sorority’s SU chapter house corporation, and is also involved in church activities. Janet and her husband Carl have resided in Manlius for twenty-nine years. They enjoy Syracuse Symphony, sailing, and travel. In particular, they enjoy visits to Long Beach, CA where they set the sails to ocean breezes.
