John J. Tartaglia, CPA, CIT, Partner, has been with Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC since 1988 after 11 years in private industry. John has more than 33 years of combined industry and public accounting experience. During that time, his experiences included providing comprehensive audit, accounting and consulting services to a wide variety of clients covering many different industries including manufacturing, construction, specialty contractors, transportation companies and professional service firms. John plays a major role in the firm’s Employee Benefit Audit Niche and is the contact partner for the firm’s membership in the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.

John is a 1977 graduate of St. John Fisher College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He also has received the credential of CIT (Construction Industry Technician). John is also a member of the NYSSCPA and the AICPA.

John and his wife, Susan, reside in Syracuse, NY.
